Stern Manufacturing is a custom rubber molder that specializes in bonding rubber to other substrates such as metal, plastic, cables, and other types of rubber. Innovation

Our proprietary metal pretreatments along with stringent process control with adhesive application allow us to consistently achieve desired film thickness from one part geometry to the next. This coupled with state of the art injection molding machines, allows for precise monitoring of heat and pressure throughout the cycle, and giving a final product with unmatched consistency in physical cured state of the elastomer and adhesion to the substrate.

Awards

Stern Manufacturing recently won two prestigious awards that we are very proud of. We were named Supplier of the Year for American Valve & Hydrant for the 6th year in a row, and an amazing 7th time in the last 8 years! The second award was an Award of Excellence from Polaris Industries for the 2nd year in a row!

Added Capacity

Stern Manufacturing recently added to their capacity by installing an 885 ton, 42" X 42" Erie compression molding press. This adds to the selection of 8 injection presses and 24 compression presses. This will allow parts to be manufactured up to 38" X 38" in size.
